costa-cambridge

Costa Coffee

Even prior to Briggo’s acquisition by Costa Coffee, the company was looking to ensure that its technology was robust enough to withstand continued success and growth. That said, Briggo was not interested in building a large in-house tech team, nor were they ready for the expense of a large, multi-disciplinary consulting shop. They wanted a partner with proven experience building clean, comprehensive code – a partner that could expand and contract its involvement with the brand depending on whether major software development or basic maintenance and support was needed. In 2018, they found that partner in SevenPico.

travel-win

Travel.win

Rather than taking on the expense and logistical complexity of growing a large in-house technology team, Travel.win began a search for a partner that felt like part of the team, but offered both broader and deeper experience and the flexibility to expand and contract as needed. They learned about the success of SevenPico’s Software Development as a Service” model, and signed on right away.

Urologic oncologists Alex Kuitkov and Todd Morgan were familiar with technology. As students at Harvard Medical School they launched and operated UrologyMatch.com, a popular forum for aspiring and active urologists. They understood the potential of mobile devices such as the iPhone and iPad to revolutionize patient care and had a vision for a mobile application that could improve doctor-patient communication and collaboration. While more technical than many physicians, Alex and Todd knew to focus on their strengths – and therefore had no interest in building and maintaining their own software development team to bring their idea to life.

ava

Ad Valorem Advisors

AVA’s success has been based not only on the firm’s deep expertise, but also on the proprietary data aggregation and analysis that drives insights they can deliver to their customers. AVA originally built their data insight system as an on-premise desktop application – a successful endeavor, but one with availability limitations and a significant amount of required manual support. They saw a huge opportunity in rebuilding the system as a self-service, fully cloud-based web application but did not have – nor did they want to build – the technical team to make that happen.
